TasGold is produced from premium grade apricots specially bred for their rich colour and intense flavour.  They are grown in the picturesque Coal River Valley, just near the historic town of Richmond in southern Tasmania.  They are hand harvested and selected specially for Dry Ideas.  We carefully stone the fruit and then dry them in our unique cool temperature drying system that maximises flavour retention.  This process results in fruit that is packed full of flavour. 

Unlike other dried apricots, we do not use sulphur or other preservatives. For reasons of health and allergy many consumers wish to avoid additives. Our apricots have the natural wholsome colour and flavour of pure apricots.  They are moist and ready for you to enjoy.
